Post-war parking garages were architecture's love letter to the Wirtschaftswunder - that brief, giddy moment when West Germany rediscovered prosperity and poured it into concrete. The structure at Rödingsmarkt 14 is one of the finest examples still standing, and a quiet favourite among photographers who know where to look.
