Euler-Hermes-Reflections

Hamburg's "Weißer Riese" - the Euler-Hermes-Hochhaus in Ottensen - stood 40 years as a landmark visible across the city before being demolished between 2020 and 2022. Built right alongside the Altona-Blankenese railway line, it was for a time the second tallest office building in Hamburg. Now it's gone, and the skyline is quieter for it.
